Vertical garbage and linen chute systems for multi-storey buildings, allowing floor-level disposal to a central collection point at the base. System overview • Garbage chute: Floor doors discharge to a ground-level compactor or dumpster • Linen chute: Sends soiled linen from floor pantries to a central laundry collection point Specifications (typical project example) • Chute tube: Dia 24″, 1.50mm SS 304 with sound-deadening material • Doors: 1.50mm SS 304 per floor; door size 57 × 73 cm; net opening 45 × 45 cm; ~30 L capacity; bottom hinged with electromagnetic lock and indicator; 8.00mm SS 304 rod handle; 2″ × 48 kg glass wool door insulation • Ventilation: Axial fan, 1500 CFM at terminal • Mounting: MS frame 1.5″ × 1.5″ × 5.00mm angle; MS ring 3″ × 5.00mm flat • Controls: Delta PLC panel (24″ × 36″ MS powder-coated) with floor status indication, lock/unlock interlocking, individual floor operation, and water-jet clean system • Cleaning / fire: Jet/booster pump with nozzles and piping; fire sprinkler points per floor as per drawings Door count, diameter, and electrical package are engineered to each building.
